Paired bearings are used when the load carrying capacity of a single bearing is insufficient (using a cross coupling configuration), or when it needs to withstand combined loads or axial loads acting in two directions (using a back to back or face-to-face configuration).

The basic design of single row angular contact ball bearings is mainly used in configurations with only one bearing at each position. Its width and protrusion are ordinary level tolerances. Therefore, it is not suitable to install two single row angular contact ball bearings closely together.

Installation precautions of angular contact ball bearing:

1. The installation of bearings should be carried out in a dust-free and clean room. The bearings should be carefully selected and matched, and the spacer rings for bearings should be ground. On the premise of maintaining the same height as the inner and outer rings, the parallelism of the spacer rings should be controlled below 1um;

2. Before installing the bearing, it should be cleaned thoroughly. When cleaning, the inner ring slope should be facing upwards, with flexible hand sensing and no stagnation. After drying, a specified amount of grease should be added. If it is oil mist lubrication, a small amount of oil mist oil should be added;

3. Special tools should be used for bearing installation, with uniform force and no knocking is allowed;

4. Bearings should be stored in a clean and ventilated manner, without corrosive gases, with a relative humidity of no more than 65%. Long term storage should be regularly rustproof.
